Where is my child?
These days it seems as if so many parents are faced with their child being diagnosed with Autism. One of the most common questions I hear parents ask themselves and others is "Where is my child? What happened to him? Where did he go?"
As one gets further into the Biomedical treatment for children with Autism they discover that certain supplements and medications are necessary to get the child on the right track to healing. Here is our experience with supplements that started out being 5 and turned into more than I can count on my two hands. Each supplement helps in a different way and many children with ASD may be helped by giving certain supplements depending on the child's needs. Sasha's needs are very demanding.
We started out using several different brands of supplements but currently have found a happy place with what Wellness Health and Pharmacy has to offer.

Medications
TD-Glutathione (TD =’s TransDermal) 200MG/GM CR once each night LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) - 1/4ML at 11pm after he is asleep (if you would like a copy of the LDN study done by Dr. Jaquelyn McCandless please email me) Diflucan (stevia base)-1tsp twice a day for 20 days (this equals 1 round, you will need to take a 20- 30 day break before starting another round.) Nystatin (Stevia Base) 1tsp 4x’s per day - stoped taking Nystatin as he became resistant to it Amphoteracin-B (stevia base) 1tsp twice a day, we rotate using Diflucan and Ampho-B to reduce risk of harming the liver since Diflucan is such a strong medication. Flagal (stevia base) - 1/2 tsp twice a day, Very strong anti-bacterial medication. You must give probiotics 2-3 hours after giving Flagal. Flagal kills the good and bad bacteria. Probiotics are the good bacteria that you need replaced. DMPS Supposatory - 1 dose twice a day, once a week. We have use TD (lotions), oral, IV, and supposatory medicated chelators. So far the one that has pulled mercury and lead in the red zone is the supposatories.
When having a doctor prescribe any yeast medications such as Nystatin, Diflucan, Amphoteracin-B, or bacterial medication such as Flagal make sure that they write the prescription as a liquid form with a Stevia base. All of these medications are VERY bitter and taste extremely bad. Normally compounding it into a liquid form a pharmacy will use sugar to sweeten. If Stevia is requested then it will be sugar free and taste just as good.
DISCLAIMER: Please consult your child’s physician or a pharmacist before starting your child on any supplements. This information is from our own personal experience and not intended to treat other children with ASD. This is what has specifically helped my son. If your child has any allergies be very cautious of starting supplements without a doctors consultation first. A child with food allergies and eczema could be prone to asthma. In some cases Glutathione has been known to trigger the predisposition symptoms of asthma into an asthma attack. Please be very cautious of using over the counter Glutathione. We use a transdermal form that requires a presctiprion and my child does very well on it.
